Taken at Granmother's Rescue Center in Southern California, this is Travis, one of the many amazing wolves that they have there. You can see their website here: http://www.grandmothersrescuecenter.com/

Travis had eyes that truely mesmerized me. I love this photo best out of the whole 260 odd photos I shot in the brief time I was at the facility. Travis apparently had a feature role in Bram Stoker's Dracula made in the early 90s. I didn't have time to find out his full background but he was a magnificent animal nonetheless.

I had the wonderful opportunity to visit this facility this past tuesday as they were holding two rescues I'm now providing sanctuary for. They already have roughly 50 animals at the moment so I was happy they could hold the two I picked up even if it was only for a couple of days. There will definitely be photos of that pair appearing here on DA soon.

He does have lovely eyes. :)
The juxtaposition with the fence is sort of ironic of course.
