This is one of the 2 new rescue animals we adopted back in the end of december. Originally this boy (Manny) was going to be placed elsewhere but we got firmly attached. His fellow packmate (Lilly) was also to stay with us but due to an unexpected dominance situation with her (and an unprovoked attack) she had to go elsewhere. The reason my deviations have been sparse recently is I've been pulling lots of shifts and healing from my fractured proximal phlange on my left hand. It's hard to type with a heavily bandaged spiral fracture.
Another shot of Manny, our newest rescue, giving his usual intense gaze. You have to love those eyes. There will be many, many pictures of this boy's face/eyes featured here for sure. I love how the light highlights half of his face and shadows the other...thus the title. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
