This is probably my first unimaginative title but it's so late I don't care. I'm just happy to get something uploaded here! It's been awhile but I have a slew of stuff to post. I just got back from a wonderful trip to Florida to see my folks. Just beforehand though a good local photography friend pointed me to the Struve Slough in Watsonville to potentially see grey fox kits. Well, I stumbled upon this little angel who sadly was a bit sick. In the end she went to wildlife rescue to be cared for though. She was a patient and very mellow little subject. Even when a large garter snake ran right up against her.
Not to far away, Yoshi (the friend), had found a den with 2 parents and 5 kits. I never got to see any of them but they chose a public spot! It was like 2 feet from a walking path. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our local rescue center also had a young fox, a red fox of course. Poor little creatures.
