I have been working hard to get this shot to work for quite awhile. I kept fiddling with the branch across different pack member's faces. The focus would always be off slightly in areas I found important. I was getting frustrated. Usually Pinefire is the one that sleeps/lays in this area. Aiko decided to take a turn this time though. The color version again felt lacking. I tried B/W and liked the general feel. The eyes were what was meant to be striking. So, I decided to sharpen certain selections and toss the color/sparkle back into Aiko's eyes. This is now officially one of my favorite photo edits. I love the end results. It has the soft, subtle impact that I was looking for. Aiko has such beautiful eyes.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
