Hello everyone,

I've been quite busy with work and maintaining Gurty, but I have good news. Gurty is officially 100% again. It took one whole week of force feeding before she would take food on her own. Even then she started out very slow just nibbling at the chicken off and on. The same went for the ground beef. Now she's tackling the meat with a vengeance and eating some dry kibble again. She's finished with her antibiotics and happily prancing about with Elko. It's a HUGE load off my mind and already my back seems to be getting better quicker. I think stress had a lot to do with that last bit.

So, this is where I give a HUGE thank you to everyone for spreading the word with the eBay auctions and such. Out of 9 auctions so far 9 completed as sold. That helps a LOT. I received two donations that gave me breathing room as well. One from a local friend and one from my parents. I didn't want to burden my folks so I didn't request anything from them, just told them about the situation. Thankfully though everything has worked out. I'm still going to continue selling a lot of my things on eBay though. We've got a long way to go before we're stable financially again in case of another emergency. The only one's getting pampered treatment are the animals.

With all that said, I hope to get some photography up here soon. The first will be a thank you shot featuring Gurty and her massive incision area. It will just be visible in my scraps section though, so unless you watch me or go to my scraps section you won't see it. The rest will go in my regular gallery and feature shots from the Washington trip to Wolf Haven, Northwest Trek Wildlife park, and the Seattle Space Needle (both day and night). Thank you for all the prayers, well wishing and support for Gurty. It means more than you can know. I hope everything is going well for all of you too.
